First I would like to say please forgive me in not getting the point. I love to talk to anyone that has a different view than me. This, in a way, was what I started out trying to do. Then, all I wanted was to inform everyone about things that I found important.
I have a very long commute 2 and from work. 86 miles on way.
I hear a lot of news and when I am home watching the news I hear nothing about what I got off the news stations on my commute.
My intention was not to _issoff anyone. I am suprised though, that when there was a different view I never got and facts to support it. ( oh, you never got my oppinion ) that is how all this got off tract. In my view upsetting people only fogs the mind.
From here on out If I find something worth posting I will make sure that my feelings for or against will be included. Thanks for the kind words and the oppossing comments. I will take this as a learning expirence. Scott

P.S. I hope that someone got there eyes opened to something that they were not aware of.

I fully and completely understand your point of view, wanting to shed some light on politics that we may not be getting from mainstream media. For that I applaud your efforts. I shouldn't have stated I wasn't coming back to the lounge as a result of your posts, I was just in a bad mood I guess and lashed out. Start to give your view, as you said you would, and I am sure you will engage in intellectual conversations here. Not from me mind you, LOL. I lack the intellect and political knowledge to hold a conversation with a can of soup. Welcome back and I look forward to reading your opinions...

Conversations from the right, left and center are all welcome here. I just think we'd all like to hear what you think, not what someone else thinks from a cut-and-paste. The Lounge is just like any other party you come to--you don't want to be the guy who shouts everyone else down and dominates the conversation. :)

Sandflea: I personally like to hear not just what my fellow fishermen are thinking, in their own words, but also what sources they are drawing on. It's like putting footnotes in a research paper. It can be a GOOD thing. I have been directed to some excellent sources by some of these cut and paste entries.
