Please do not copy-and-paste material from other sites or e-mails. Not only does it violate the copyright of others, but it's the political equivalent of spam.

Every viewpoint is welcome here, but please make sure it's your own words.

Can you paste and copy posts made by yourself from other sites?
I fully understand not qouting others, but it's hard to write the same story differently a few times if you're posting on several boards.

If it's your own words, it's fine. Just don't repost someone else's stuff.

A serious series of questions pertaining to recipe posting....if I may. :D
I got to thinking about that lonnnnnnng Soda Fountain recipe thread I started in the Recipe Forum.
And my questions are as follows....

Is it ok to copy/paste the ingredient list and just change some of the words within the directions part? :) or

Would it be preferable to just manually type in each and every single solitary individual digit/letter of future recipe submissions? or

Can the recipe be copy/pasted as long as credit is given to the person/site that said recipe was found on, with or without there originally being a copy write notification from where the recipe was found? :)

With nothing but absolute respect for the founder of this wonderful fishing site....I ask so as not to possibly cause conflict with any of my post submissions. :D

Thanks

You are not allowed to post other material from other sites even if you reference the source?
