I need Help Finding a Baitrunner/Live Liner Type of Spinning Reel to match with a 10ft Rod.I want it to be able to handle fish up to 200 lbs if necessary.Weight and Size dosnt bother Me.I'm also looking for a Rod that can handle throwing 16oz weights + Maybe a pound bait.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just saw the new Shimano Baiy Runner 12000. Looks like a nice reel. Two hundred pounds thats a lot of weight. What kind of fish are you looking to catch that is that big for a large spinning reel. Sound like you are looking for somthing like a Penn International 180. LOL
And welcome aboard.

I think you need to look at something other than a baitrunner if you are talking about 200lbs and 16 oz weights. :D
im guessing your going for big cats and sturgeons?
maybe a shimano ultegra xtb 14000. weighs 750g. holds 0.35-550/ 0.40-400/ 0.45-300.
4,3:1 ratio.
load it up with braid.. and slay em.

You guessed right Eric.I'm trying to catch a World Record Freshwater Flathead Catfish.I live in Kansas.I've read plenty of Articles about 200-300 lb Catfish being caught in Nets back in the day in my local waters.Theres old articles in The Local Paper and Old Books talking about these fish.I've talked to guys that where well equipped and still couldn't get the fish in.I think the Record Flathead Hasn't been broken because people where not prepared.100 pounders get caught around here every year. There has been fish larger than the World Record Caught in the past couple of decades. They just wernt caught using Rod&Reel.
I never used Coventianal Reels because I never learned how to cast them.I already have a Thunnus 16000F and I feel that it can handle anything roaming in my waters. The Rod I have it on is not that capable though.
I'm not worried about salwater ruining my gear.I will be Fishing The Missouri River when its up and running around 4 MPH current.I look to you guys for help because I know you guys test your gear way harder than us Freshwater Fisherman. And I have learned more about fishing tackle here then anywhere else.
