Fished this morning from 0500-0600 on the west side sandbar outside of the bridge. Would of stayed longer but as slow as it was and with no longjons under the neos it was an easy decision (D@MN that water is getting cold!) I did manage to pull one 20"er off the same piling as yesterday that was big enough to fillet so it's in the cooler. I think that may have been the last hungry Striper left in the inlet so with only 2 days left in the catch and keep season this may be the last trip to that spot for a while, barring any reports of great fishing there, that is. Oh well there's always Sandbridge, the Outter Banks and that Hot Ditch place (where there are no fish ;) :D )
