The new toy

So here's the next addition to Pierandsurf.com: a great new photo gallery that is seamlessly integrated with the boards system.

--If you're unregistered and just cruise here, you're out of luck. Go ahead and register (http://www.pierandsurf.com/forum/register.php?s=&action=signup) on the boards, okay?

--If you're registered but not a Supporter, you can check out the new gallery the same way you could the old one.

--If you're a Supporter or moderator, knock yourself out. You pay for the toys, you get to play with them. You can create your own fishing photo galleries. It's a breeze. No more sizing photos and sending them into me and waiting for me to get off my butt--the site will do all the work. Share your photos with P&S and your friends.

If you have photos in the old gallery that you want preserved (I'm looking at you, Cdog :p) you need to put them on your computer and upload them to the new gallery, because the old gallery is going away.

And one more note: If you want to become a supporter with a personal check, it has to happen by the end of February. Because as of March 1, 2004 I will only accept PayPal for upgrade payments. Gotta' keep things above board for tax purposes. :)

Thanks for the heads up JettyPaul. Anybody else having trouble viewing?
No problems except for that I had to relogin when I got to that page. But I think that has to do with my personal firewall.

I've looked over some of the problems people are having and it's due to end-user stuff. The gallery itself is working fine and 95% of the users are getting through, but if you have your security settings really high or you have a firewall program you may have some problems.

In these cases I suggest you log back on to the photo page if it tells you you're unregistered. Things should work fine then.
