I figure that I would beat Hat to it. Who's it going to be?

I just thought of the perfect person for the Angler of the Month, Wilbur. For anyone who has met him knows that he is good people. I had the pleasure of meeting him last year and the hospitality that he showed us Northern guys made the drive worth it, even though me and Shaggy got the skunk. Plus with the take a kid fishing day that he has planned makes it all the more reason to make him May's AOM. He's got my vote.

I am a go with Wilber, plus, may just want to see the "Rusty Ritz" again, and being a somewhat "fat" guy, and looking for that kid to take fishing (what are you doing Hat, I'll leave your lines alone, if ya don't mess with the nose no more). But as Anthony said, Wilber is "good people", so, all in favor.............
Have Jeep will travel. :D

Ill cast my vote for wilbur for this month but I want next month. I think i had a good year so far. I got my first keeper and personal best in one catch. Plus I was bustin heads during C&R season. Wilbur gets my vote because the take a kid fishing thing is a great idea and my kids love to fish with me. All I can say is, WILBER, WILBER, WILBER..........Tight Lines

I feel that Wilbur is more deserving of the award for many reasons. He is one of the nicest guys I know, a man I am proud to call my friend. He is always willing to lend a helping hand and will let crazy guys who drive 8 hours stay at the Rusty Ritz. Plus on top of all that, he still wants to give back to the community and take a kid fishing. I will try and do my part and find a kid to take fishing.

Both are deserving but I think it's Wilber time and I know Roz's time will come soon

Keep in mind there's a Wilbur and a Wilber. I think most of you are referring to Wilber, the more frequent poster. Just wanted to straighten that up so things didn't get confused.

You are correct, I was referring to Wilber.

Most humbling folks thanks. This is as good as seeing a youngster catch their first fish.
