Love them Redskins!

God it is nice to have a competent
team/coach again!

Did anybody catch the Colts/Pats game
last week? I think that Peyton Manning
is the most overated QB in the league.
He ALWAYS chokes in the big games.
I will say that this last one was not
his fault, Mr. James gave that one away!
Those fumbles were unreal.

As long as Ray Lewis is part of that team,
I will never have any respect for them.
I guess that it is OK to have someone
involved in a murder as your team capt/leader.
And yes, he was convicted of obstruction
of justice. Do not even get me started on
Jamal Lewis!

Peyton Manning has potential of going to be as good and Dan Marino, who won possibly all of the passing record and failed to win the Super Bowl. But I would love to have him with the Redskins. Maybe Gibbs will make him handoff the ball instead of passing it and ocasioanlly a deep ball to Coles.

Go Skins

CrawFish,

I think that you nailed it just about right.
The only difference that I can see between
Manning and Marino is that Manning is more
apt to just blow up and single handedly
loose a big game all by himself, just
when they can least afford to loose it.
He has always been this way, even in
college.

Jamal hasn't even gone to trial and you make it sound like he is guilty. Based on what?

The "Unbias" news report and newspaper headlines.

Hello Orest! I like this new board.

I based it on guilt by stupidy...and being a
member of the RAVENS! That's nuff for
me. Seriously though, I have no idea
if he is guilty or not and never said that
I thought he was guilty. I just said "do
not get me started on him." Meaning I
would hope that he would exercise
a bit more care in the folks that he
chooses to hang around with so that
he would not even be in that situaton.
Kind of like the Kobe deal, we wil never
know exactly what happened, but shame
on him for being in that situation in the
first place.

BS Board Great Idea

I agree with you, "Guilty by Stupidy".

That's the hardest thing to teach your children; you got to choose your friends wisely.

We're one game into the season: You might want to wait a bit before counting your Super Bowl rings.

Hello SaltyDog,

I am glad that you put my words in
quatation marks...Now please show me
where it says anything about "SuperBowl"
or even Playoffs. The only thing that
you will find is the word "competent".
Not great, Not really good, just...competent.

If you feel that from what we have seen
so far, (yes only one game has been
played, that we do not have a more
competent team/coach than last year
that is fine. But MHO is that we are
a more.....competent team.

So, after one game you can tell that they're competent??????? Perhaps you should be a coach.

SaltyDog,

To answer your question....Yes.
I feel that we will loose more than
our share of big games this year,
(the eagles make the hair on the back
of my neck stand up with all the
talent they have!) But unlike last
year, I do not think that we will
kill ourselves with let's say 3 consecutive
penalties whenever we get near
the red zone or close to a crucial
first down, etc, etc. That is the
main difference that I saw. I do not
mind loosing, that is part of the game.
But last year the play just made me sick.

Hey, which team do you call your own
btw?

Eagles Suck!!!!

How can you say the eagles make the hair on the back of your neck stand up??? OK, They have TO and The Freak And McScabb, But after that who do they have? Their defense doesnt scare anyone. There offensive line is banged up, and they have to prove the can sustain a competitve running game. the Freak has to prove he can stay healthy, TO has to prove he is not a cancer. They have a suspect secondary. There is no way they will get that much respect from me. Oh yeah They torched the Giants, The giants are picked by most analysts to finish dead last in the league this year. The eagles mediocre running game gave the giants fits. And McScabb and TO BBQ'ed the giants secondary, But who wont do that this year??? Wait until a proven runner like Portis goes against them, I see atleast 200 yds on the ground from him alone. The Eagles have high hopes that wont get them anywhere. TO will see to that.......GO SKINS!!!!

Master Caster,

You are putting me in a tough spot
here....I love the redskins, been a
life long fan. But, the eagles have
been the NFC East champions how
many years in a row now? UNTIL
we beat them, they deserve the
respect given to a division/conference
champ. NOW when we do beat them
this year, it will be that much sweeter!
and we will have the bragging rights.

Watch a bit more sports center...You obviously been living in a cave the past few years. The Eagles will win the NFC east with no problem. Like a true football analyst has said......Yeah the Eagles have been unable to stop the run, but what coach in his right mind is gonna be running the ball when they are down by 21? Nuff said

Put Down That Haterade

Big Rad,

You have just doomed your team by
putting the ultimate jinx on them. Saying
in a public forum for the record that
they will win the division again.
Well I guess that the Redskins will
just have to slide right on in there.
P.S., While I respect the eagles, it has
to be mentioned that they are the
current decades version of the
Buffalo Bills of the late 80's, just
not as good since they cannot even
make it to the Super Bowl to loose.

Now you really know that
you are on the BS Board
when you have a Giants fan
on here talking smack!!

The Giants remind me of last
year's redskins...sooo much
team drama going on that
the games are secondary.

murphman, it's OK... you do not have to
deny that you are a Giants fan on here,
just bust out and shout it to the
world, it will make you feel better, don't
hold it in.

Yes, times are dark now, but they
will get better.

Dallas? who's that? Wait.... oh yeah,
they are the ones who are hoping that
Vinny the "old man" Testaverde and
Keyshawn can lead them to the promise
land! Seems like Keyshawn has his mind
stuck in Tampa Bay instead of Dallas,
at least that's all he seems to talk
about.

Let's see Keyshawn was on the Jets,
got replaced by Wayne

then he got traded to Tampa Bay,
got benched for the season

now he is with Dallas...but I am sure
that it will all be good

With a front line

Testaverde passed for over 300 yards last week. It's no big deal thoe. I know two games we'll win this year. I have to admit it thoe, with all the games Wash has lost to Dallas in the past ten years the odds are in their favor. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while! LMAO.....Tightlines
