The way I see it we're still an expansion team thanks to that jerk Model taking the team to B'more . At least we beat them. After that we could lose every other game this year and I'd still be happy.

Hey jay B if its any condolence Modell is as hated in the burgh as he is in Cleve. He destroyed a great rivalry not to mention what he did to the fans. I hope the Ravens never win another game.

Glad to hear that. The "reason" he took the team from Cleveland (no fan support) was total BS and everyone knew it. There's such a hatred for the girls in the fugly purple uniforms in Cleveland the old rivalry with you guys is almost forgotten, which is a shame. Don't worry we'll take care of the hapless bungles.

Hey, Irsay F$%### Baltimore, and at one time what was a Baltimore/Pittsburgh and Baltimore/Miami thing. What I can't figure is why nobody cried foul when Baltimore lost their team, nobody cried foul when Cook of Washington and Tagliaboohooo blocked every attempt Baltimore tried for an expasion team, yet now Baltimore and Model are the "bad Guys". Baltimore and Model didn't start this mess just carried on what happenned to Oakland, St. Louis, now Houston and Cleveland, and they got teams pretty quick compared to Baltimore.

And with the Cook influence blocking Baltimore from getting an NFL team faster, I am appalled, that those same 'tonians, were bitching and whining about Angelos doing the same thing with MLB. It's really not sports anymore, it's the chase for the almighty dollar, and Cleveland sorry, I felt, and to this day feel your pain (BALTIMORE COLT diehard forever), but at least you lucky SOBs got to keep your name and a team back in no time (how long did we have to put up with the BS?), Baltimore lost the team, the name, the records, but the history is HERE, Unitas, Ameche, the "Greastest Game Ever Played", Berry, Moore, Donavan and for Hat Tony "the toe" Linhart...... I could go on with Macky, "Big Daddy" Lipscomb,....... !

Cry in somebody else's beer, 'cause the way things were, we wouldn't and couldn't have gotten another team, and another Super Bowl Champion in Baltimore, was icing in the cake.

That said, me gotta go with Dallas, because it helps the team now residing in Baltimore.

My biggest beef with the team moving was the BS reason that was given by that old JACKA$$ Modell, no fan support,right.

The way I see it the championship that the Ravens won belongs in Cleveland where the team had just moved from.

See you guys again this year and I hope the results are the same!!

Crowds, same reason Irsay gave, and personally I don't miss the family.

Championship, since all our records "belong" in Indy, belongs in Baltimore, not to metion the fact that changes were made to the team chemestry after the move, and it wasn't like we won the next year. Or, who knows, maybe it WAS the Baltimore fans that pushed the old Cleveland team to new hieghts.

As for Modell belonging to Baltimore, "he's all yours", check your facts, Modell doesn't own them, Steve Bisciotti does (lucky SOB, went to school with him, a bit younger than me) a local, who may just be good, who knows?

Anyhow I was a season ticket holder for the Colts, so this here is a "no win" argument. We lost, Indy won, you lost, Baltimore won, we both have to get over it.
