Grinner Knot vs Uni

Confusion between the Grinner knot and Uni has come up before, so I think this link I found makes the difference a bit more clear. The Grinner basically has an extra step of wrapping a few turns around the standing line before looping it to start the Uni part.

The Grinner seems to be more of a Brit thing.

Not sure which would be stronger, tie smaller, etc.
