Hi all!!

I have a trip scheduled this weekend to go bottom fishing with Amick's in Savannah. He has always put us on some great fish!

We will be in town a day or two before the trip and would like to do some inshore fishing.

I have NEVER had any luck from piers. The place I have been with good luck was around Ft. Pulaski. I caught some small reds, croakers and trout their. I really would like to hook up with some flounder though. Does anyone have any good places for flounder? Or is Ft. Pulaski good for them also?

I wanted to use Shad assasin electric chicken color with a 2/0 hook.

Thanks for the help I hope bottom fishing will at least be good for us this weekend!

Pulaski is a good spot to fish and I've seen some nice flounder come out of there too. If you want to do some inshore fishing, call Captain Stan. He knows where the fish are and he does half day trips as I recall.

Thanks emanuel,

What do you think about my setup for catching flounder and other fish. The sea shad assain with 2/0 hooks 20lb spinning out fit. Are there any colors you recommend?

I like the Space Guppy Bass Assassin and other bold colors for the dirty water here. As for the 20lb outfit, I'd scale it down a little. 12lb test is the most you need for inshore fishing unless you planned to go after tarpon.
