i'm looking for a good line for my agu 6500 c4. i have 20lb stern it right now. i want to go with a smaller dia. line but also want to be able to keep it strong too. i here that braided cuts the guides so i'm not sure if i want that or not is there a braid out there that does not cut your guides or not. i here a lot of talk on here about some kind of sufix line is that a good line and is it small in dia. and strong.

brands will do fine. I would use maybe 15 - 17 pound test. 20 a bit heavy.
I use :
Ande Tournament
Trilene Big Game
Trilene In-Shore
Yo-Zuri Hybrid
You have to try them and see which one you like best.

Hey Buckshot
20# seems to be overkill. What type of fishing are you doing with the C4? I have 10-12# on my 6500's. I use them for jigging, tossing lures and light bottom fishing. I tie on larger # flouro leaders or metal if I'm dealing with teethy characters. I tie a shocker for bottom fishing.
I use YoZuri Hybrid and Sufix Tri. Had no problems with either.
