Southern NC fishing?

Hows the fishing this time of year around Wrightsville Beach and Emerald Isle? I don't have easy access to anywhere up north for some stripers but I'm itchin for some fish'n and was just curious.

I have hung up the rods for the winter. I have, however been keeping my ear to the ground.

The only activity that I'm aware of is the report from Sportsmans pier. They report a few black drum(1# class) and some blowfish.

Not the most productive time of year but you never know.

Fishing down around here on Topsail Island right now is a hit and miss thing.There are still fish around but you have to be willing to soak a bait for awhile to do any good.Give it another month and we will start catching something.
