Carolina Beach Report 5/7-5/8

Well...not much to report. Made it out to Carolina Beach around 8:00am on 5/7 and fished till about 6:00pm. Caught 1 nice whiting ~16-18" on a sandflea and 5 pinfish on shrimp. Went out around 6:00am on 5/8 and fished until 10:30am and caught only 2 skates on cut shrimp. The weather was pretty nice and it was good to get out even though there wasn't much to catch. The water felt really cold though.
