finally wet a line

Headed off to OCP on saturday night to fesh on sunday. Well after I got the king rig out I commeced to slinging the gotcha. I think between 4 people we caught around 30 blues. People can say what they want bout them blues but with 8lb test line they are fun.

Without question,bluefish is one of the pullingest fish in the ocean. Used to catch those 15 plus lbers while gray trout fishing(some over 14lb) with light tackle. Believe me,when a bluefish got on you could tell the difference.. ;) Even as tablefare,I'd eat a bluefish over a grey trout.. :D

We had some nice bluefish fillets last night for dinner. Along with some spiced shrimp. Good eat'n. In between drum fish'n I loaded the cooler with about 15 blues over two days. Most over 4lbs. Good eat'n.
