Topsail pier reports

wednesday is my last day of school and im going to topsail to the seaview pier and was wondering how the fish are bitting and especially the cobias.

water is to cold for cobia wait till mid june for cobia

Water is good now! The Jolly Roger has already seen a few and I saw a big one hit a king bait 2 weeks ago. It just didn't hook up! We usually catch our cobes in May but this year was cold. Good luck.

i have been fishing at that pier for the past two weeks and alot blues have been caught as well as some nice spanish (probably 18-20in.) and three 7-10 lb blues from the king rigs. That is all that I know about, haven't been up there over the past few days but will be returning soon.
