School is coming to an end soon, and i'm looking for some extreme pullage. So heres what I got so far:
1. 535gs/mag on an OM 12' heavy
2. 20# Suffix Tri with 50# shock
3. Plenty of 100# Ande Flor Carbon bite leader
4. Hooks? I don't know what hooks to use for cobes; I got pleanty of Gamakatsu 8/0 Octopus Circles. Just some people talk about using bigger hooks. This is a question for the Old salts. What hook size do you prefer for fishen for cobes, on a fish finder rig?

This is just IMO,OK?? Many folks feel you don't need at least 150yrds of line on the reel after the cast,I do.. If you are going to use that sized reel,use braid backing or something so you can get more line on it,JMO..

Line size is good

I use a 10/0 gami octo J hook,with fishfinder.. Many use longer leader,I see no difference..
