Folly Beach..........When the fish bitin'...!

I visit my old man who lives off Wappoo rd. quite often and I like to surf fish at Folly Beach. Anyone give me some good advice on month...days to hook up with....anything blues, drum kings..???? I usually am skunked as i suspect time of year is not good recent trips.. Thnaks Fairway :confused:

I have read reports that they are catching Kings off the Pier in folly, not sure how many. Also read of good numbers of Black drum being caught. I have never fished at Folly pier myself, not paying the fee when I can fishin the beach for free. I have only fished folly once but plan to fish there from now on so stay tuned!
