Grandview

Took off with a buddy of mine out of Grandview yesterday (got there about 9:00am) - went to Bluefish Rock and drifted a ways. Caught my first keeper flounder of the year (18.5 inches) and some croaker. We then took off to Buckroe where we caught a couple of bluefish, some croaker and a trout - too small :( . Stopped between Buckroe and Grandview, not too far off the beach and caught a few more flounder and croaker. Storm started rolling in and cut our trip short by a couple of hours. Did see a young guy with a cobia at the boat ramp.

Where is Bluefish Rock? I hear alot of good reports from there. Any Cobe spotted? I will be doing some fishing on Sat in that area off Grandview and Buckroe.

Sorry, that just came to me. I'm much more of a pier fishing kinda guy and I happened to hitch a ride w/ my friend out of Grandview. You get me out in the Bay a ways and I can't tell you how to get back (although common sense would tell me just to head East). All I can say is that we took off out of Grandview and it didn't seem like it was that far out of Grandview (took about 10 min?) heading a little NE maybe. Sorry couldn't help much there. Maybe someone else could clue us both in. Did find a nice little bar just down the beach a little from the old Buckroe pier where the bluefish were biting.
