We should try and get some surf fishers together sometime and do a little eve / night fishing and get to meet and greet the other anglers on the board.

I might be up for that in the fall. Maybe get all of us GA guys out there too. doright and maybe we can convince RR to make the drive. Went to the get together @ tybee earlier this year but, it was a bust. Met emanuel but, not many others showed.

Yeah I think it would be a good thing. We can swap out tackle tips and have a chance at some reds from the sand. Plus the bigger blues will be around then, I would think?

If we do it in Sept-Oct we should be able to land some reds. I would imagine if we have people travlin' from the south we would do it for more than one day.
I am open to all sugestions though, you wanna do it elsewhere?

Here's my opinion on a jambo....
If it was done in Brunswick Ga, there's plenty of reasonable lodging in the off season, and a BUNCH of fishing opportunity within a 15 minute drive....
For the pier and bridge types, there is St. Simon's and Jekyll Piers....Four or five highway bridges that have been left for fishing, and for the sand between the toes types, plenty of room and deep water on both ends of Jekyll Island.
I might even be able to swing a deal on a bunch of rooms in an American, Mom and Pop owned motel that is just about perfectly centrally located.
Plenty of good eats and entertainment in town too.
Fishing gets good around here when the weather begins to cool a little.
As for going to S.C. My wife would love to make that trip....so I'll try and make it if that's the place...
