Sep-Oct Trip?????

I am planning a long weekend of surf/pier fishing somewhere mid sep - mid oct. If I head towards Myrtle/Garden City/Surfside what could I expect to be in the water during that time? And would I expect to have better luck from the pier or the surf. Thanks for your help

Every thing. Best time of year to fish in my opinion. You can catch king mackerel, spanish mackerel, flounder, sheepshead, whiting, cobia, Blues and im probly forgetting some.
