Gas Price Stinks -- Just Like Rotten Bloodworms

Just wondering, after watching unleaded gas surpass $2.50 overnight, if anyone is having second thoughts about going far out for fishing. For me to go to Point Lookout, I will need 8-9 gallons for the roundtrip, plus 9-10 bucks for bloodworms, entry fee to the park, food, ice, etc, it's definitely not cheap. On top of that, you come home skunked (which is becoming more and more likely these days), and you double your frustration.

Just whining on a hot summer afternoon.... I still rather be fishing ...

You should be glad you're not putting gas in a boat at a marina. Average cost is $2.89 a gal and I only get a little less than 2 miles per gal. So when I pull up to the marina and say fill it up that's 138 gals. if I'm on empty. Do the math. :D
