we fished from 11 til 6 around the high tide and it was one of the worst days we had in a while. there was lots of bait to be netted but not many fish for the johnson clan. and get ready for this...... no crabs either :eek: but we pounded the planks for 4 crabs 4 flounder slightly bigger than the shrimp they ate. the view was nice and it was hot as hell with no wind to speak of the water became very clear after high tide but still no bites. early in the morning i saw a few small trout and reds caught and saw 3 keeper trout. i can't wait for cooler temps to hit the area. we did net some the larger shrimp of the season may go search for some today to lay on some angel hair pasta with butter and garlic :D but it's to hot to fish think i'll just watch the race in the a/c. clinder i didn't see any sheeps but i bet you can find em. we' ll catch out there another day give them things a try.

definatly have to do that eddie.they were there probally on the bottom though cuz its so dam hot. have you tried a little inshore maybe pulaski or lazarreto lately? any luck? i heard afternoon and morning was decent at those two spots in the deeper water for fish and the big male crabs.
