Hot. Worked on my tan. The breeze made it bearable. Couple of small (2-3') black tips gave the turons a thrill. Guy hooked a BIG ray. Few whiting, saw a small pomp caught. Even a 5" blue fish (probally took a wrong turn somewhere). Promptly live lined him and a 3' black tip promptly munched him. Did not know how the folks faired in the wash.
Saw a couple of small spanish jumping around. But were few and far between. There was even some birds working about 300 yds off the pier. Must have been praticing their diving.
Water was pretty clear for Tybee right at high tide but the fish switched off about then.
Me? I was skunked. That blacktip I mentioned was brought to the surface but got off quickly. Did a "rookie" quick hook set but he followed it right up to the top munching away and laughing at me.
