East side of the Bay

Got out for a little bit last night. Not much at all happenning, some small perch, some smaller spot and one ray. Stayed about 4 hours and hit some of the local ponds with my Berkley and Shimano Bantam with top waters, poppers and jointed jitterbugs. Let's just say the smallmouth bass were bigger than the perch :p .

Beautifull night though weather wise, and just had the itch to spend some time outdoors. Hopefully another month or so, be able to spend lots of quality time outdoors :cool:

Were you at the Peake?

Im a bit curious because it sounds like SPSP has some action.

But you know that whole east coast / west coast migratory thing (I wont even bring up)

Nahhh, not the 'Peake, local spot, figured if fishing wasn't happenning, why waste the money to fish the 'Peake, when I can fish for free. Anyways, woulda spent the $$$ if some P&S people were going, always try to at least stop by and say hello, but this time of year, few venture across the bridge, don't know if its the traffic or fish inactivity.
