PLO Report - 8/27

Very simple report.. SLOW!!!! I tried the causeway, Bay, and point. Came home with 2 16'' blues. Saw others caught around 6 blues between 13''-15''. There were tons of spot no longer than 3 inches. The biggest spot I caught was a whopper 5 incher. The pier was slow as well. There were few blues caught but that's about it.

On a different note, I saw several water spouts about a mile away. It was quite a sight.

I was at pointlookout on the 25th and it was slow as well maybe next saturday will bring some in some fish

It rained/drizzled in the morning from 7:30 till around 1 ish, then cleared. At 6:00pm it started to drizzle and by 7:00pm the drizzle turned to rain and the wind picked up.

Did anyone check the water temp? As I was packing to leave, I went to rinse some things in the water and realized why we weren't catching many fish. THE WATER WAS HOT!!! :eek: I don't think we'll be catching much of anything until the water cools down a bit. It was warm enough to soak any sore muscles you might have from all the casting over and over. This might explain a few things, huh? :cool:
