Ches light tower question

I'm fairly new to boating and have a question. The marine forecast has 3-4 seas on Sat, I've got an 18' cuddy cabin, would it be a good idea to go out in these conditions? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

if you have a tri-hull its gonna beat you to death...a good V will be a little smoother...3-4 is a bit much for a novice imo...stay in close until you are sure of yourself...

thanks for the input. my boat is a deep v-hull. we'll probably just troll close to cape henry for spanish
