Labor Day weekend Garden city pier

Love the messages. Whats everyone been catching in Garden City? Will be there on Friday!!! :D I like to surf fish and want to know what everyone has been catching, flounder and blues whitting popano? And What type of bait shrimp, mullet or sand fleas? What type off lures work good in the surf also. I just got a new rod and reel and want to spinn cast a little!!! Last year I caught a huge flounder on a spoon. No lie. Well let me know people. :p

Have not been fishing garden city, but I have been fishing myrtle beach and catching some whiting on shrimp. Not really been doing all that great on mole crabs. Have not caught anything on lures yet from the surf, have thrown some sting silvers, mirror lures, etc. I have not thrown the heavers yet but I am getting ready to change all that :D
