the only reason thier may be a shortage at your local gas station is because people are lining up 40 deep in some places thinking their is a shortage.therefor depleting the fuel at your local station only.plus we prety much "OWN" all of the oil in iraq now anyway. I.E. no pun intended>yeah right. :p

I know how you feel...I've had a fishing trip planned in NC with one of my buddies that lives there for weeks....now I have to decide if I really want to blow $200 just to get there and back  ...hmmmm, hope the fishing's good!!! :p

I'm leaving from NJ tomorrow to go to MB and I'm sure I'm just going to love my gas bill. Oh well! We've had this planned for a year and I intend to be surf fishing Saturday

A few of the stations here have reported being out of Reg. gas. If they get the pipe line going again today or tomorrow it should be fine but expensive. Oil don't seem to be the problem its the refineries that are down the problem.

I'm heading down from Franklin, NC to Jekyll tomorrow. I've checked down through Athens, Dublin etc. and they all say they have plenty of gas.

Go to www.aaa.com and you can check gas prices.

Maybe I'm blind or something. Is there a link on the aaa main page or do I need to click on something else? thx

Here in the charlotte n.c. area most stations did run out due to a general panic wave about prices.Gas was hitting around $3.29 a gallon.Figures this would happen as I start planning some trips to the outer banks.
