got 9 large whiting and two trout this morning.lost two other trout due to pulled hooks and probally 3 others early triyn to fish two two poles at the same time.the bite was somewhat slow except for about an hour when some dolphin pushed some fish onto the beach. no sheepshead :mad: tried like mad but the water got muddy muddy muddy.had a good run aboutfive in the morning on ma heaver but whatever it was i couldnt slow down on 85 pound braid.took a five foot 80 pound malin wire leader off at the swivel.lady fish were around and some nice blues.man did it get hot though.live shrimp in ma bait pool are getting bigger by the day.saw one spotail about 13 inches caught around 12:00pm.all in all the table fair was their but no bull drum as of yet.kept all the heads of the whiting and put em in the freezer though.rest assurred they will get to see the ocean one more time in the near future as the big reds shouldnt be far off.that trademark tybee fall 5-10knot northeast wind was blowing all day wind been coming from the south for a while..fall is just around the corner and i cant wait to be pullin in those reds.fished from 1:ooam till 1:oopm didnt see any other runs though on big game. lots of bait in the water and i mean lots.the needle fish were havin a hayday.happy fishin guys and gals.another day another tide. :)
