Where do you buy fresh mullet and menhaden around here in MB?

Menhaden you can't, but you can normally get mullet at the fish market on Kings Hwy. I can't recall the exact block, but it's on the ocean side near 10th south.

Past Family Kingdom going toward Surfside. It's on the same side of Kings Hwy. Little while building on a corner with no parking, I think beside a beachwear store.

I bass fish too :D . Matter of fact I had my boat out on the waccamaw today. BUT I got the name from my friends because I am 6'5" and when I grow my hair out it is big and bushy like a fro, so they started calling my big perm / big worm like form the movie friday. It has stuck ever since, they have called me that for years. Oh well, what are friends for.

BW,invest in a 4' cast net. It'll pay for itself within a week in the fall.Nothing fresher or better than a finger mullet, menhaden,or even a small whiting right out of the net.You can throw them from the piers and around the inlets.Freeze a couple pints/quarts properly and you'll have the first good bait of the spring when the blues and whiting move back in.

Yeah I have the 6' cast net, just have not gone out to throw it yet. Wind has been blowing a gale thus far.

Takes a little practice but I throw the 6s and 7s and am only 5'9",so you shouldn't have much trouble. They'll save ya far more $$$$ in bait than you ever pay for them, not to mention the shrimp you can catch with'em.

Fishloser, I have not fished the Santee, but I would like to.
Flathead you shrimp? Care to PM me and share a spot or some pointers. I have the net but I was thinking of doing some back creek shrimping around in the little river area. You go out around there?
