after all these years of fishing from the piers and surf of va. Hurricane izzabelle gave me a good reason to buy a boat when she destroyed all my favorite piers. Now I have to learn where all the good fishing spots are all over again.I have a 19 ft bayliner and we put in at dutch gap in chesterfield. Headed downriver anyone know of any good fishing spots they are willing to share. Thanks in advance :) Happy fishing!!

its a big change as me and my fishing partner are learning. I thought I knew enough to get buy as a pier and surf fisherman now I feel like a lost kid. it took us 4 months just to get comfratable and will probaly take anthor 4 years before we get good at it. Only fish the maryland portion of the bay so Im no help with fishing holes down that way but I would like to offer a piece of advice. Have a spare prop and tools on board including a roll of duct tape. Its really a must to have a spare prop on any boat because you never know what might happen. Good luck and congrats again.
