OK, perhaps wishful thinking, but at this point we're looking at almost no chance of rain, at 10-15 NW winds for Friday turning to 10 (give or take) SW winds in the afternoon and for the weekend.

Light winds may allow the baitfish to stay close enough to shore to keep the big fish within casting distance. Cooler temps should help the first wave of the fall migration to start. I'm predicting an increase in the 10+ pound blues, along with some 25" to 35" stripers coming out of the Delaware bay to visit the De and Md surf casters!

CampNfish (my Nephew), FishHead (his Uncle ... me!), and HelmetBoy (my brother, a Harley rider who will fish with me if I provide the bait and tackle) will be fishing hard from CHSP to AI and everywhere in between. HelmetBoy does have the silver Jeep Wrangler, so getting us to the bullpen is his contribution! He'll be flying a pirate flag and has a nice black safari style roof rack, so stop by and say hi if you spot us. I'm pretty easy to recognize, as I'm 6 foot and only 160 lbs, and will be wearing my tan Cabelas "tilly" hat.

Hoping to meet some P&S folks this trip!
