PLO Lately?

Anyone been to PLO lately? I just wanted to see if anything was biting and how the crowds were on Friday or Saturday nights.

About 3 miles north of PLO we caught 2 undersize rockfish Sat nite in a small boat about a mile out...we didn't see many cars on the causeway. About 2 weeks ago, my buddy caught a nice 10# rock off the beach in the same area on cutbait.

Thanks for the report. I'm just deciding if it's worth the drive or if I should stay closer. I've been wanting to try out some new rods I picked up for pier fishing.

Went there saturday, water was like glass at low tide (6:40pm). Nothing hit until 10pm, 13" grey trout, 15" Blue, and 5 rocks (14-17.999") wasn't gonna chance it on that rock that was just hitting the 18" mark..since they do shrink when put on ice. I left at midnight..
