I'll be fishing the Lewes area from the surf or possibly even the Cape Helopen pier beginning Thursday thru Saturday. What are my best bets for bait and or artificals. Tks :)

Fresh bunker on a fishfinder rig, and FishBites bloodworm on a hi low rig.
I'll be at CHSP pier on Thursday night for some croaker, or whatever is around. You may want to try IRI since it's so close to where you're staying.

Gordon's Pond area, near Rehoboth is good place to fish. Have caught some nice fish there this year. :)

How is the dogfish fishing off the pier right now? I am looking at coming down over the weekend to do some fishing and would like to take some home for my shark pool. Just want to make sure, before I pull out the collecting gear, that the doggies are still around.

rig with any cutbait will do. The guy caught it with finger mullet. Heck, I even caught them on BWFB or bloodworm. Squid will work too.

I am into marine aquaria and sharks are one of my favorite animals to keep. Follow this link to go to my web pages and check out the pool.

That's really cool man. Noticed the tail on this one, that's not a small thresher is it?

No, that shark is an Atlantic Sharpnose. The angle of the shot and the fact it was turning made the tail look much longer then it really is.
