I had a dozen fresh bloods leftover from the weekend so I decided to get rid of them in the best way possible ... =)
I was not expecting much but wanted to see the new pier. The pier is very nice and once the general populous discovers it there won't be a place to stand.
I did have plenty of action at least ... lots of small perch and a small spot that I promptly used for bait. I did not bring any big hooks or gear with me.
It was very windy and quiet. A nice evening none-the-less.
QUESTION: I used to haunt Mattapeake in years past but never fished Romancoke before. Is it a good place for Stripers/blues? When are good months for those there?
