got there around 4:00pm just as the sun was getting ready to set. tide was high, not a strong current, no wind suprisingly comfortable weather. only one fishing the east side.caught my first on my fifth cast, a 15in. on a 1oz bucktail with a grub.on my twelvth cast caught a keeper 19in. two more dinks within the hour.after the sun set the current got strong and the bite turned off.saw one guy who came right before I left, think he caught a keeper.......left around 6:45, in all caught 4 and one keeper. all the fish i caught were right before and after the sun set.:)

Have any of you Narrows fishermen stopped off at Romancoke to see if bigger fish are coming out of the mainstem?

have not visited the coke in about a month. with the cold weather i would rather be active and cast lures at the narrows then sit and bottomfish. might be worth a shoot though...........might head out on wed. if the winds let up.:)
