6'6" Conventional E-Glass 30-80 lb factory rating
id rate it perfect for 30 lb test with the power to stick it to the fish when they get close to the pier....
this was my fighting rod for the pier for the last few years....soft tip so the hooks aint ripped out of the fishes mouth...
this rod has landed a king and several cownose...its got plenty of power...THE ROD DOES HAVE A GUIDE PROBLEM>>>>THERE WAS A BUBBLE NEAR THE FOOT OF ONE OF THE GUIDES>>>I TOOK POWER PRO (yellow)AND WRAPPED IT UP NICE AND TIGHT>>>ITS NOT PRETTY BUT ITS PLENTY STRONG
the rod has a woven graphite butt overlay
all the guides themselves are in perfect condition...no cracks or chips missing...they are turbo style
the paint(black) is chipping slightly however on the edges of the metal...the wraps on the guides are black/silver/red.....very nice lookin(besides teh power pro guide)
The reel seat is aluminum in good condition....the butt and fore grip are EVA foam....several SMALL pieces of the foam are missing where i put the king rig hooks....
this would make the perfect king rod...
reason for selling is because im getting a custom...
rod costs 60-70 new...ill take 40$.....
prefer local pickup(chesterfield VA)as th rod is 1 piece and really needs to be seen...
