Cape Canaveral Surf Fishing

I have gone both Saturday and Sunday Mornings for a few hours each day. Very very slow. Water was clear and calm on Saturday and a little chop on Sunday(14th). Using live shrimp, Sand Fleas, Clams and nothing seems to do the trick. Even changes from casting one rod waaaay out and one up closer and a number of different ideas. All I managed to get were some very small whiting and about a 10 pound skate. Anyone having luck in this area on the beach lately? Thanks,

I fished lot 1 at Playalinda on Sat on 2 hrs on each side of high tide, I did see several fish caught, I only managed one, another got off on the way in. Oh did I memtion the bird that caught my line, always interesting when you are by yourself.

I used to fish at Lot 1 Playlinda alot when I lived in Titusville. But what I used to do it walk South until I got to the fence blocking you from going any further into the space center property. Used to slay it everytime we went.
