SOUNDS AS THOUGH OFFICERS WERE ON A POWERE TRIP....AS USUAL. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE FOR ANYONE LET ALONE KIDS. YOU ARE TAUGHT THESE PEOPLE ARE THERE TO PROTECT AND SERVE AND ALSO TO HELP YOU. THAT FEMALE OFCR SHOULD BE SUSPENDED IF NOT FIRED FOR HER ABUSE IN AUTHORITY. BETCHA SHE GETS OFF THOUGH:rolleyes:

did they have the same problem?

Am a 2001 Silverado driver, approaching 120,000 miles and not a complaint. I just changed the plugs at 115,000 and I had to remove them myself.:D

ummm pinto's problem was it blew up when it got rear ended. ford decided it was cheaper to pay the wrongful death lawsuits than to recall them.

just another example of how they dont care about the people that buy thier stuff. i'll stick to my mopar

I remember that.

Just like the old Ford trucks with the gas fill neck right next to the drivers door, so when rilled over you knock the neck and spill gas all over the place and the sparks from sliding would ignite the gas. Ford just doesn't care.

Look at the roll over/tire problem the Explorer's had a couple of years ago. Why couldn't both Ford and Firestone face the facts something was wrong. And work together to fix the problem.

Not me. Not me. $$$$$$$:--| :--|

Cooper tire doesn't care either...http://www.cincinow.com/news/2006/local/05/16/cooper.html

The one thing that wasn't mentioned was that the guys says Cooper is his biggest client, so he does the same thing for other tire companies as well?

I ALSO DONT KNOW ANYONE WHO USES COOPER TIRES.BUT IF I DID ID TELL THEM THIS " GET RID OF THEM TODAY"
