Wind, wind, wind
and more wind
made my way out to the point Friday late afternoon. Ran into Fred and Trish, nice to see ya all again.
Fishing was in a word slow- managed a couple of small doggies, a small sea mullet and a couple of skates
ran north a bit and tried for some more sea mullet-nada
Met up with a buddy from NC at midnight and fished the high tide till 3:00 a.m.
Couple of more skates and that was it.
Saturday was a repeat with more winds and slow fishing. Wind was steady at 20 with gusts to 28.
Saw a couple of nice sized blues (about 7-10 lbs.) caught in the hook area. Tried until 2:00 a.m. - nothing at all for me
Got up Sunday morning to calm winds and a beautiful day- of course I had to head for home:rolleyes:
