Definitely would have to be my pizza job
when I was 15 years old. I worked on
the inside so I got worked like a dog
for basically nothing. My arms would
break out from all the flour on them all
day and I would almost get sick when
I smelled pizza. Moved on to delivery
and made a killing.
Best one I ever had was a landscape
job for my housing association. Nothing
better than working outdoors.;)

Worked for Ampmore Electric, 4.25 an hour. I was a HVAC installer helper. Which ment I got to crawl around under the house and hang the duct work. Dirty nasty job.
My favorite job was bagging groceries at the Navy commisary at Oceana. Pay was tips only....usually averaged around 20.00 hour. Not bad for a high school kid working 3 hours a night in the winter and then full time in the summer. Best of all got paid cash every night. No taxes. Kept me in beer, gas for my 68 mustang and of course cash to make that mustang a real sweet looking hot rod.
Then I graduated and had to get a real job

Those commisary jobs were the best deal in
town, especially if you were in good with
the "scheduler". ;) My brother had one of
those jobs at Fort Meade and he did
very well. Then again he always was good
at BSing people.:D

I just strung her along let her flirt with me LMAO. (nothing like having a 40+ yr old lady hitting on ya when you are 17 just wish she was'nt so dang ugly LOL at least I didnt have to sleep with her :--| ) It wqas great got all and any hours I wanted she even bought me and another guy beer when we wanted it LOL. Worked as a mover over the summers in highschool. Backbreaking but you got big arms out of it and good pay. Harder than dichdigging but not as messy as MC Ds, that lasted one day.

This is coming from someone who worked in hay fields and tobacco patches as a kid, from about 10 years old thru high school, so I'm not scared of a day's work.....
The worst job I ever had was working for Coca- Cola. I took a warehouse position, supposedly until a delivery route came open.
Two nights of hand building pallets of soft drink cases according to the order form, enough to load seven route trucks... .......While the forklift driver, who was ONE notch above an idiot savant, watched....
The third day I went to the boss's office and told him there was NO amount of money that would make me continue to do that job. I told him to keep the check I had coming, and to have a nice day...
Thus endeth my career with Coke. But let me tell you, I've NEVER taken a canned coke for granted since then. An unbelievable amount of work goes into each one.
Have a coke and a smile.....

FIRST-Well coming from a couple generations of brick masons in the family the FIRST part time job was laboring for the brick masons...loved it! (really i did), hard work, back breaking, would do it again if I didnt have a college edumucation....
WORST- working in a local BBQ joint, best diet I ever went on, HATED food for a month.....then got a job at the local huntin anf fishin store...heaven oh heaven :-D
CURRENT/BEST- Wetland delineation...absolutely LOVE IT...trompin thru the woods all day long...see anything from nasty cutovers, to beautiful gum swamps with arrowhead growing in it, to shear cliffs and amazing waterfalls that very few human eyes have been laid upon........can be hot, humid, thick and nasty, but it beats sitting in the office (which I have to do from time to time after a week or two in the field) see some neat and cool stuff, see some stuff I dont care to see again, and see some stuff that prompted me to carry my Glock with me from time to time (i.e. Today lol)

.........working the "plant" desk of a microbiology lab. You get the "specimens" originating from various body body excrements, or rotting body parts, etc, fluids that are thick and gooey, stuff that you can't believe come from humans. You get to open the containers and apply the specimens to growth medium so they can figger out what the infection might be.
There are no words to describe. And you usually just skip lunch.
for example.....

Working maintenance at a waste water treatment plant. Cleaning out a raw sewage tank! Fixing anything that had raw sewage. I can't even start on how badly it smelled. I can remember some days when I just worked in the shop, being 100 yards from the closest tank and still smelling like a turd when I got home.
Best job was working the produce at a grocery store when I was in high school. All those women feeling the fruit and veggies and asking witch one was better or firmer. :D
