Sharks!

When does the bite for bigger sharks at nite usually start picking up?? I know there getting little 2-3 footers off of the piers but whats happening off the surf for them around the wilmington area?

I've been looking, but no takers yet. I got my first on June 6th last year, but the water was a bit warmer than it is this year so far.

I did however find 9 slot/over slot pups last night while trying to catch shark bait. They caught me off guard, never have done well in the spring for 'em down here. Guess I'll go back tomorrow night and try 'em again.

i tried for em at wrightsville two nights ago, had a few knockdowns and pulled hooks. only managed to beach one 4 foot sharpnose. heard they were havin some blacktips messin w/ the king baits on the pier though so they're around.
