Fished the point friday nite into saturday moring, didn't catch much but a 26 puppy that tasted pretty good today. I saw over a dozen drums caught, might be more as they were caught in the dark and pepole would just release it as soon as they reel in one. I don't know how pull in a puppy while everyone else was catching bigger fish. Fished some more Saturday morning didnt' catch anything but one fouled hook bluefish, a few other blues on metal but spit the hood at the wash. All in all I had a great time fishing, hanging out with some friends, and meeting Tommy Wheeler, Wormy, Joel, and Paul (DD's friend), thats for the drinks. Wish I could stay longer but have family coming from out of town to spend the weekend with us..

Rod review: The nail and the fusion are bad@$$ rods. I had the pleasure to test them both out while talking to Tommy and Wormy. I outcasted myself with those 2 rods. I might have to get one or both my self.

Hey Teo, sounds like a blast! A pretty distinguished crew there as well. How's Richmond treating you these days? Next time you head down to HI, give me a buzz and I'll meet ya in Richmond and we can go together... I agree with DD, get the Fusion... :D

I only know it was a short time fishing next to you! That storm was fierce Friday night hugh? We actually got a little hail there about one in the morning....See you next time!

Hey Teo, sounds like a blast! A pretty distinguished crew there as well. How's Richmond treating you these days? Next time you head down to HI, give me a buzz and I'll meet ya in Richmond and we can go together... I agree with DD, get the Fusion... :D
I might come back down this weekend, not 100% though, but next weekend is more definite. I know NTKG will still be down there and I might have to crash his party. I'll give you a call, Milt.

That storm was crazy, it reminded me when I was growing up sleeping in the sheet metal/tin style home in the monsoon season. It made sleeping in the car a bit easier though.. :D see ya next time.

Its good to hear guys reconmending the new Fusion. Looking to having one built in the near future. Really sounds like it might be the one for me.

Hey Rick, if you want to feel a Fusion, stop in at Hatteras Jack's on your way down the island, he will more than likely have one or two blanks there or a blank already finished... ;)

Good to meet you. Glad you like our new line of surf rods. You should have hung around, as there was a pretty decent bite on Sunday evening.

It was great to finally meet you. Couple of us were talking while you were casting about how you have a great casting style. Nice and smooooth!

Glad you liked the rods. Anyone that is down is more than welcome to cast my Fusion. Just come and ask.

I will be down for the next two weekends. Hope to see you again.

BTW Tommy tells the truth about the late night drum bite Sun night!

Thanks.. I'm flattered. Maybe next time I can offer you a drink instead of me emptying your cooler. Look for me... silver 4Runner, prolly w/ a silver honda pilot and silver nissan Titan. If you don't mind me testing your rod, I'd like to put a diff reel on it this time. See ya soon buddy.
