So I was fishing my flounder hole (from a dock) yesterday and some dudes (who had seen my snook/flounder reports) showed up on a flats boat and anchored 10 feet upstream and started pitching jigs and hitting the docks, etc...
They didn't know what they were doing obviously or they would have been casting upcurrent and letting their jig/bait drift with the current under the dock. I didn't say anything, even when they got hung on the dock. I figured they'd tire of it quickly since I knew they weren't gonna catch any fish.
Well they did and left, but they certainly didn't miss anything... I caught 9 catfish on live shrimp in the MUDDY as heck water. When my shrimp were gone I went to Sunglow and saw they had been catching 26.5" reds and 18" flounder. After a month of successful fishing in the river, guess it's time to start fishing in the Ocean again...
