There from Tuesday through Saturday.
What a week. I got two Drum at forty-six inches apiece tuesday night....They just cant resist Spot Heads.....Nothing but Blues and a Spanish on Wednesday. Thursday during the day, I managed to yank one from the trough out on the bar on the east side of the point that was 32 inches during the "Low-Tide Slump". Thursday evening, one 48, one at 45 inches. Friday night, one at forty-five inches. one on Menhaden, one on a Seamullet head.
On a different note, one of the Forty- five's had a monster hook 12/0 or so in the other side of its jaw along with a shocker and eight ounce caught in the gill plate....glad to get that out....And how about that menhaden school west of the point at about ten on wednesday? filled several five gallon buckets with one cast.
Congrats on that fish rob...its all about the bait man!

You said it Clay! Great report. Ryan, did you use your throw net and were you on the bar at night when you caught the big drum?

THe bait came in to the hook, it was pinned in by dolphins I believe...."the General" (Rob) Yelled at me that there was bait up against the beach. I got my net, waded towards that bar west of the point, in about waist deep water. I got a very hefty net full.
It was work, but worth it none the less.
