Action in Port Canaveral ?

I'm going out tonight and was wondering if anyone has been out to PC in the last couple of days. I normally fish by the draw bridge (by the locks) inside the port and have random luck over there on live shrimp. Who knows of a better spot, not including the pier, in that general area? Any honey holes?? I like that area because it is about the closest thing to Orlando for me.

im pretty sure i fished that bridge over the summer a few times. To the locals i probably looked like every other touron but i was catching what to me looked like mangrove snapper on live shrimp under a float. Regardless of what kinda snapper they were, they where hard as s*** to hook! It was a weird place to fish though, it seemed like about every five minutes a tug or something would come through and then the water levels would rise and fall as he went through the canal i suppose? It was interesting to watch though:D

i was there today snagged me a sting ray and as i was taking it off the line 2 guys pulled up in a boat and started casting where i was before the sting ray and caught 2 good sized flounder!

i wasnt very happy :mad: they knew i was casting there they were watching me !

i think i need to buy a boat :)
