Well im a big soccer fan and a proud member of the Barra Brava www.Barra-Brava.com (the greatest supporters group in the country for DC United). I voted Germany being the host country and all i think gives them a big advantage, i just hope the US gives it theyre all and of course would love to see them win it all (id party for a week straight :D ).

Well lads, I am d@mn glad to see someone on here finally post about the World Cup. I will definately be watching every game that I can. While I would like to say that I think the good ole U.S. will show up, I do not think they will by watching there last couple of games. The defense just isn't controllng the ball very well when they get the chance and to me that is what can either save or kill a team. Lets hope I'm wrong though. As always, Brazil appears to be strong. However, my wild card would have to be the Czech Republic. Remarkable how this team is playing together. Anyway, I'm getting pumped for the start tomorrow. By the way, anyone in the Tybee Island Area who wants to get together on the weekends to watch the games just let me know. Take care and may your team be greater then the opponent on your day, but not greater then the team that I wish to go all the way.

Going with Italy, don't they put the most money into it? Or the Mavericks.

Hey Leopard,

Littlefish and I have season tix to DC United and we see you guys rockin' the stands across the field. :D

Me, I'd love it if USA made it out of Group E but they're going to have to play their A$$ off every game...no slouches in that group. As for Germany, they are the hosts and a perennial power and so they have a great chance. My vote is for England, especially if Rooney comes back. Either way, LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!!! :D :D

Thats awsum FB if you get the chance stop by the Barra tailgate to say hi sometime, great group they are very friendly people who come to rock every game :D . I started going to games back in 99 and have been hooked ever since. We were trying to orginize a fishing trip last year but it fell through. Nothing like a DC United game, im usually at 85% of them home games at RFK. Go DC UNITED! GO USA! :D
