Fishing SI with "E"

Met up with Emanuel for some afternoon fishing...
It was slow but I came home with flounder!!:D :cool:
Ok ... Relax "E"...
He caught the Flounder.. A nice big one at that. He gave it to me to square up the drinks I gave to him... Yep its that easy to get some fish from Emanuel..Just give him some drinks...:p
I am cooking some sides to go with that flounder now,....:D
It was a slow day and all I caught were some spade fish... Small ones at that. It was nice to see Emanuel and take the afternoon in the sun.:cool:
Some Big reds were caught and even a slot red was picked up.
When "E" picked up the Flounder it was right under someone fishing next to him... It added to his delight...:D
We still need to find time to meet up for some surf action with everyone comming..

I'd LOVE to get back down there and give SI another try, so, If y'all get a trip up, I'll try and make it! Maybe we'll actually meet this time Vic...:D

It was a pretty slow day out there. I did have one MONSTER spottail pinfish, the biggest one I have seen my life. There was a permit caught about an hour after I got there and a few nice snook. The only thing I have to brag about is the flounder that went 20" and then went home with Vic. Had another one on the same size that I lost. Never saw a flounder swallow a jighead like that before. Ah... secret bait.:D

I cut the filets out and fliped the fish and heard a thump....?? what?? What would be that heavy in a fish?
Your jig head was in the belly of that fish. Only reason the whole thing was not in was a the lead head would not fit... That flounder was hungry. He had other plastic tails in the tummy as well... Not just yours.

Same kind of tails or different kinds? If so, let me know what kind because I intend to figure out exactly what they're eating so I can feed it to them. One of these days, I want to keep a couple for myself. Haven't had a good flounder filet in awhile. I usually find myself too lazy to clean them.:D

They are easy ... Kind of like two fish with 4 filets....:D :D :D
Root beer color flat tail and white worm tail??
That fishes tummey must have been upset. Also small mullet or greenies like the bait pods we saw. Come on down soon. I am hungry. I will be there this weekend.
