brevard county???

ok ive been all over brevard ! is what im seeking is a good spot to cast net pig fish or small bait ...

also some good spots to fish in the river ! puffer fish free would be real nice lol

any sugestions are great ones

I know spots in the river... In Indian River county. You need a boat but all over is good. Right now Eary Morning is best followed by late afternoon. Night fishing is also very good. Mid day good deep. Check out the channels during the day.

I'm from Brevard,just been busy so ignored the boards for a few days. I'm not sure where you can net pigs this time of year in the river, but I know of a pretty decent spot that you can hand line 12-18 from smalls to big snook bait sized ones within 1-2 hrs if you're interested.

I'm not sure your exact location, but I fish off the Melbourne Beach pier (across from Melbourne Beach on Riverside Dr). I handline squid off the pylons along the dock from 3-5 PM and usually get a dozen on a average day. However, I haven't been there in 2 months as the water was too cols to produce masses of pins. But, experince with this pier tells me they should be thick under there along with a nice pack of grunts, which make the besy trout and snook bait in the vicinity of that pier. When those fish here those wounded grunting fish they come a-running.
