mucho whiting

fished the surf at indialantic from dawn till 10:30 this morning. Plenty of 10-16 inch fish caught on sand fleas and fresh cut mullet.one very small bonnet to go with the whiting. I did better with my river rod closer to shore than I did with my surf rod. I'm new to the area so let me say hello to all and keep those lines wet.

Were the sand fleas big? I went further south today and the sand fleas were tiny!

I have seen many large "thumb" sized fleas around. North and south of the SI jetty. Fish high tide last time and did not "see" fleas but scooped them up right where they are sopposed to be. Some small but most large. We got them with out hands and dug deep and fast.

sand fleas were all good size and they were everywhere.
